Hope Was Here by Joan Bauer
This is an excellent book. It has great moral value, which a lot of books
don't always have. After I finished reading it, it gave me that great
feeling you get when you read a book that is utterly amazing and you are
sad that the book is over. Just read it, you won't regret it.

TEARS OF A TIGER by Sharon M. Draper
My favorite book is called TEARS OF A TIGER.... but i dont exactly
remember who the author is.....lol.. It's about a
bunch of college kids leaving after school one day, and they all went and
got drunk and got in a car wreck. The driver was the only one that lived
and he lived his life miserable and every one blamed him for the wreck.
Then finally everyone started being nice to him again, and he was naming
stuff that he wanted to get rid of and that was 5 dollar bills because
they spent a 5 dollar bill on beer. And he got rid of blue cars be cuz
the car they were in was blue. Then everyone was blaming him, calling him
names, and he lost his girlfriend and all of his friends. So0o0 then he
got fed up and commmited sucide--but it's a really good book. I don't
even like reading, and I had this chapter book done in 3 days. I got
addicted to it in a heartbeat; I have already read it like 3 times,
believe it or not. You should really read it...

Sing Down the Moon by Scott O'Dell
This book is so amazing. It just pulls you in and you can't get out. And
you don't even want to get out. It is so descriptive about everything. And
the way that it just makes you love the characters at first, and then
everything happens. It is just amazing.
My favorite part is when they are camping on the cliff and together they
decide to leave that area and go through the woods. But then they get
caught and get taken to the reserve.
Actually my favorite part is when Bright Dawn is a slave in a house hold
and she and two others are planning their escape. And they do. I would SO
recommend this book to anyone that likes to read a good book.
All of this story really gives you knowledge of what life was like for the
Indians. And I think that he really puts a lot of emotions into this book
and I don't think that it could have come in any different form.

Island Of The Blue Dolphins by Scott O'Dell
I'm reading Island Of the Blue Dolphins, when I am 8 and almost 9. I like
the book a lot. Because I love animals and the whole book is almost about
all animals. I liked most of all when she found the dog where the rocks
were, and she thought it was dead, but it was still breathing. She had to
stop every second or moment because the dog was heavy.
Thank you for writing the book.
